Founded in 1942 and under present ownership since 1951, Highway Equipment is one of the oldest industrial engine distributors in the Southeast. It was originally formed as a three-man equipment shop serving the local agricultural and construction markets.

As Central Florida grew, so did Highway Equipment. The early 70s involved the company in many of the major projects in the area such as Disney World, Sea World and several construction projects downtown. The business grew quickly through the addition of several new locations and products lines.

In the late 80s the decision was made to shift the focus of the business to the industrial products market. This remains our goal into the new millennium. Highway Equipment specializes in the sales and service of industrial engines, pumps and generators. Adding new lines and growing with each decade, Highway Equipment is committed to providing our customers with the highest level of service possible.
